What is BondPrint?

BondPrint is a research-informed relationship psychology assessment and mapping platform. It helps individuals and relationships understand patterns in attachment, bonding, caregiving, emotional security, desire, relationship stress and repair. Unlike assessments that assign a single attachment style or compatibility score, BondPrint creates a multidimensional relationship profile.

What does BondPrint measure?

BondPrint maps patterns across interacting relationship systems: how you bond, how you experience attachment security and uncertainty, how you give and receive love, how caregiving and provision show up in you, how desire works for you, what changes under stress, and how repair happens.

Each of these is a dimension of your map, not a score to pass. The full list of constructs, with the research behind each, is on the methodology page.

How does a BondPrint work?

You start with a baseline assessment of about 10–15 minutes, built from scenarios, trade-offs, and behavioral choices rather than only self-description. From there, short optional check-ins keep your map evolving.

Every reading is presented tentatively, with the evidence behind it visible. You can skip anything, disagree with any reading, and change answers as your understanding changes.

How is BondPrint different from an attachment-style test?

An attachment-style test assigns you one of a few labels. BondPrint treats attachment as one dimension among many and never assigns a style.

Research suggests the same person can feel secure in one relationship and activated in another — so BondPrint separates your baseline tendencies, your current state, and relationship-specific patterns instead of collapsing them into an identity.

Why doesn't BondPrint use a simple compatibility score?

Because a percentage hides the useful information. Two people are not simply "matched" or "mismatched" — their patterns interact.

What matters is where they naturally understand each other, where one gives love the other doesn't register, and where their stress responses collide. A single number can't say any of that.

Can two people compare BondPrint profiles?

Yes. If both partners explicitly choose to link, BondPrint compares their maps: mutual signals, complementary patterns, invisible love, stress collisions, and repair pathways.

Only pattern readings are compared. Raw answers, journal entries, and reflections stay private to each person.

Is BondPrint a psychological diagnosis?

No. BondPrint does not diagnose, is not therapy, and is not a clinical instrument.

Everything it shows is a pattern or a hypothesis to explore — never a verdict about who you are or what you should do.

What research informs BondPrint?

BondPrint draws on published relationship science: attachment theory, caregiving and support research, observational research on conflict and repair, the investment model of commitment, self-determination theory, and self-expansion theory.

The research page cites the sources and marks clearly where established findings end and BondPrint\u2019s own synthesis begins.

How does BondPrint use AI?

AI helps connect patterns across your responses and translate psychological concepts into plain language — for example, in optional guided reflections.

The assessment structure itself stays explicit and interpretable, and wherever BondPrint infers rather than observes, the interface distinguishes that. BondPrint is not an AI therapist.

How does BondPrint protect privacy?

Your answers are never sold, never used for advertising, and never visible to anyone else unless you explicitly link with a partner — and even then, only pattern comparisons are shared.

You can export everything or permanently delete everything at any time. The specifics are on the privacy page.

Who is BondPrint for?

Individuals who want to understand their own relationship patterns, and pairs who want to understand how their patterns interact.

It is designed for people at any relationship stage — single, dating, partnered, or rebuilding — who prefer a map over a label.
